Purpose to keep out of debt
Keeping out of debt is critical, especially since we are experiencing some challenging times. People have a tendency to maintain the same lifestyle by borrowing when income is falling.
Does the bible say we should not borrow money? No ...
but it presents borrowing in negative terms.
7 The poor are always ruled over by the rich, so don't borrow and put yourself under their power.

Has God ever provided for someone by them going into debt and borrowing? There is no example of this in scripture
Think about this next time you make a credit card purchase which goes beyond your means, or the next time you go to the bank for a loan.
